Leadership Team

Tom O'Hara | President - CEO

Tom brings 27 years of experience within the consumer package goods industry along with a Masters of Business Administration, prior to founding Alliance Pet Group in 2019. He worked for two large consumer package goods companies prior to starting his own brokerage business representing 12 manufacturers. He has nationally worked with Costco Wholesale, Sam's Club, BJ'S Wholesale, Sprouts Farmers Market, Wegmans, Whole Foods, Kroger, The Northwest Company, Int., Cost U Less, Alaska Commercial, and numerous distributors.

Tom has placed hundreds of items in retail distribution, managed trade fund spends, and put creative, branded, and private label programs together for the benefit of manufacturers and retailers. Within Alliance Pet Group, Tom has partnered and developed a full line of pet grooming supplies under the brand Rocko & Kate. The line has successfully launched with numerous pet retailers and independent groomers. Tom is an Air Force Veteran.

Dan Wilson | Chief Operating Officer

Dan delivers 27 years' experience in the Pet Industry with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Dan started his career at PetSmart as an associate and was promoted to a Store Manager after learning all the other management rolls within the store. He then moved into the corporate office and was the Manager of Grooming Operations for 15 years and oversaw the operations of 1600 store locations. He has extensive P&L management, supply, pricing, cost and contract management. Dan has developed many new service product offerings, training curriculums, and safety protocols to deliver sales and margin to the bottom line. He brings a wealth of operational industry knowledge based on his time served in the pet industry. An enthusiastic leader that looks forward to helping you achieve your business objectives.

Bill Gerads | Chief Customer Officer

Bill delivers 27 years' experience in the Pet Industry with a Bachelor of Science in Marking and a Master of Business Administration. Bill started his career at PetSmart as a Store Manager after earning his BA in Marketing. He then moved into consumer package goods working in various positions as he moved up to leadership roles with Hill's Pet Nutrition, Ralston Purina, Mars, Blue Buffalo and Wellness Pet Company. Bill has extensive P&L management, corporate level alliance building, joint business planning, trade fund, pricing & cost management and brand stewardship development. This has been accomplished in pet specialty, veterinary clinics, grocery, mass, club and e-commerce. Ten years were spent internationally with Mars Pet Care and Walmart International developing the pet food business in Europe, Asia, Africa, South America and Central America. An energetic and pragmatic leader who enables high performance organizations to achieve objectives, increase revenue, and exceed goals.

Connie Bailey | VP Sales and Marketing

Connie Bailey has been in the pet grooming industry for 45 years. Connie's experience as a professional pet groomer and salon owner speaks volumes of her success in the pet industry. Connie is a subject matter expert in operating a successful grooming salon, training groomers about styles and safety with pets, and a plethora of knowledge as an independent owner to working in large commercial groom salons.

Connie's experience showcases her skills and abilities as a high-performing expert in her field, once a leader overseeing 1200 salons. Connie has developed and designed many pet grooming training programs, safety protocols, and business analytical reports to show how to be the best in the field and be profitable and sustainable. You may recognize Connie as she has graced the cover of "Groomer to Groomer" magazine many times as a featured business specialist and industry expert.

Fermin Návar | Strategic Partner | Master Aromatarri - Chemist

Fermín Návar is Aromatarii and CEO of Maison de Návar, Inc. He is responsible for all areas of production, marketing, sales, and product development for this Austin-based manufacturer of luxury and personalized fragrances, skin care products, along with pet retail and grooming supply items, both branded and private label. Mr. Návar founded the company in 2006. His focus has been to customize and manufacture skin care and hair care products using the latest ingredients from around the globe.

In 2017, he began to apply the same cutting-edge technology and innovation to the Pet Care sector. As Rocko & Kate team, we are now bringing nearly 100 years of product development, manufacturing, and marketing to pet care. He attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champlain for Bio-Medical Engineering and obtained comprehensive knowledge of chemistry and biology. He lives and works in Austin, Texas.

Steve Weinberg | VP Strategic Partnerships

Steve has over 25 years’ experience in Strategic Sales &Marketing, Recruitment, in the Executive Search, Retail and Services industries. Steve has personally placed, and consulted for VP & C level executives in every market around the country, from 5-person startups, up to and including multi-billion-dollar Technology firms. Organizations such as Hewlett Packard, FICO, Siebel Systems, and other leading companies have relied on Steve for his expertise in bringing them the best talent, and consultative services. Steve is extremely strategic in his approach, and often times helps clients to identify opportunities they never considered previously.

A highly driven and energetic professional, loves working with people and helping them accomplish their goals. It’s no wonder he’s had many Labrador Retrievers, he shares many of those admirable traits of that awesome breed. He now takes on his toughest challenge yet – “Taming his first Chocolate Lab”. Most days or nights, you can probably find him hanging with his new Chocolate puppy; Archie at the park !
